Professor’s speech Muhammad Dhaif Allah Al-Qatabri - Dean of the National Institute of Administrative Sciences, on the first anniversary of the passing of the deceased of the nation, Prof. Dr. Wahiba Farea In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful May peace and blessings be upon the most honorable of messengers, our master Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions. Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Habtoor, member of the Supreme Political Council, Sheikh Sultan Al Sami, member of the Supreme Political Council, brothers leaders and directors of institutions, brothers presidents of universities and academics, all present... May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you, Out of respect and respect for the late soul of the deceased, and sensing the greatness of what she gave, I ask your permission to pause for a minute to recite Al-Fatihah for her pure soul. Distinguished attendees, today we participate in commemorating the first anniversary of the passing of an exceptional educational, academic and administrative figure, whose scientific career was written with letters of light. Dr. Wahiba Farea (may God have mercy on her) was the most beautiful image of Yemeni women. She embodied firmness in management and an outstanding ability to overcome difficulties. When she assumed the deanship of the National Institute of Administrative Sciences (2006-2011), she did not deal with the institute as a traditional administrative body, but rather as a training and advisory arm of the state in a pure academic spirit. I believed that addressing the administrative imbalances in our country would only be achieved through solid scientific and research visions. Thanks to her pioneering thinking, the Institute hosted the Seventh Conference on Administrative Sciences, which was not just theorizing, but rather its research discussed actual problems in state institutions, providing applicable academic solutions. If these recommendations were implemented, our administrative reality today would be in a much better condition. She broke barriers and paved her way at a time when accepting women in leadership positions was a great challenge, but by imposing her academic personality and leadership abilities, she gained the respect and love of everyone who worked with her, and our colleagues in the center and the governorate branches still remember her era with pride and admiration. The deceased was never satisfied with half-measures; From its founding of the Center for Women's Studies and Research at Sana'a University, all the way to the founding of Queen Arwa University, it opened difficult roads for private higher education, proving that academic will makes the impossible possible. In conclusion, the Noble Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, says: “If the son of Adam dies, his work comes to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for him.” We see in our loss an embodiment of this hadith. She left behind useful knowledge, and a generation of students and cadres whom she raised with her knowledge. We hope that the ongoing charity will be completed by allocating academic seats in various university specializations as scholarships dedicated to her pure soul. May God have mercy on the great deceased, and may she rest in peace. May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you... #First_Anniversary #Wahiba_Faree #Symbol_of_science_and_humanity
